ABOUT AARON
THE STORY.
started with $50, a folding table, and a mat in a strip mall.
That's it. No investors. No safety net. No backup plan. Just a kid who'd been training since age 3, a Black Belt earned at 12 under Chuck Norris, and the belief that I could turn what I knew into something that mattered.
Martial arts was never just something I did. My parents met in a karate school. The mat shaped my discipline, my family, my standards, and eventually my mission.
Two decades later, that one school became 24 locations across 6 states, generating $7+ million a year, and a multimillion-dollar exit.
Along the way, I also helped scale a martial arts brand toward hundreds of locations before its private equity acquisition — giving me experience not only building my own company and also helping a national brand multiply.
The real lesson came through pressure.
And pressure is a privilege.
I learned what happens when drive gets ahead of structure. I learned what breaks when the leader becomes the system. I learned that hustle can start something, but only discipline, data, leadership, and operating systems can sustain it.
That collapse became the rebuild.
Today, I help operators build what I had to learn the hard way: structure before scale, systems before staff, leadership before expansion, and legacy before ego.
RISE exists to develop strong leaders who refuse to be defined by circumstance and choose instead to build from purpose, passion, and mission.
